Product Description
If you have troublesome shoreline plants such as stands of cattails, grass or brush growing out of control around your pond, there’s no better tool for fast acting control than AquaPro from SePRO Corporation. AquaPro is non-selective aquatic glyphosate which will control any vegetation on which it is sprayed. It’s effective on any unwanted vegetation including alligator weed, lily pads, water lettuce and water hyacinth. AquaPro is specially formulated for use around aquatic environments so it won’t harm fish.
AquaPro is a glyphosate-based herbicide for non-selective broad-spectrum shoreline weed control. Apply at a rate of 8 ounces of AquaPro and 4 ounces of Cide-Kick with 2 gallons of water per 50′ x 50′ area, spraying directly onto target plants. See label for complete use directions. Remember, AquaPro is “non-selective” and may control any vegetation it is sprayed onto.
Many pond owners view cattails with uncertainty because they have tendency to grow in thick, nearly impenetrable stands, blocking the view of open water and raising the concern that they will take over and cover a pond. Of course, small patches of cattails dispersed around a pond can be pleasing to see and even beneficial to the pond ecosystem as they prevent erosion and provide food and shelter for wildlife. Use AquaPro to help maintain a healthy balance of aquatic vegitation.
