Because of its innovative lock ringdesign, the Clean and Clear is easier to use than other split tanks since it fully engages and locks with just 1/3 of a revolution. Plus, it has a coreless cellular media design that makes cleaning a much simpler process. Aside from advanced component technology, the Clean and Clear also features "safe and stable" design elements. These include a continuous internal air bleed, as well as the patented High Flow Air Relief Valve. Together, they virtually eliminate air accumulation by releasing air as quickly as it builds up. Spring loaded safety latches on the lock ring prevent accidental disengaging of the ring and possible tank separation.
